The Final DisseminationConference was held on the 24th of May 2018 at Istituto Comprensivo ‘E. Q. Visconti’ - Palazzo Ceva, via IV Novembre, 95 – 00186 Rome, Italy from 16:00 to 19:00.

During the Conference, the main Project’s results were presented and some experts from the field of ICT and school education have been invited to discuss about the strategic use of ICT in teaching and learning programs as a precondition for the development of innovative practices at secondary school level in four countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands).

 

On 25th and 26th of May will be held in Rome the 7° meeting of the project. Hosting partner will be Effebi Association and USR Lazio. In this last meeting, we have discussed the National testing and consultation reports as results of the Testing phase conducted in Bulgaria, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain.

On 25/26 January, 2018 it took place in Seville, at Scientific and Technological Park of La Cartuja, the sixth Consortium Meeting of the I SECURE project.
Inercia Digital hosted the Project partners. The meeting was an opportunity to present the TEL I Secure eco-system and the Results of the piloting phase.

Next appointment was the Final conference in Rome.

The National Training Event I Secure took place in Rome at the Cristoforo Colombo Tourist Technical Institute in Via Panisperna, 255 in Rome on 27 November from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

The program of the meeting:

  • 4.15 pm  Presentation of the I Secure project
  • 4.30 pm  Presentation of the course on internet security
  • 5 pm       Presentation of the platform and related course topics
  • 5.30 pm  Interaction on the I Secure platform.

 

The fifth project meeting was held in Heerlen, the Netherlands, on 11/12 July 2017. Guests of OUNL – Open University, the partners discussed the Pedagogical Contents Development – Activity 4 of Output 3 and the development of Output 4: TEL I Secure eco-system as well as the O5: Testing phase.

The next meeting will be held in Seville (ES) in January 2018.

The document defining the professional qualification of I Secure Agent has been completed. The document is one of the results of the Output 3 I secure agent prototype.

The Welten Institute of the Open University of the Netherlands, leader of Outcome 3, has finalized this document with the support of all partners and in particular thanks to the contribution of Effebi and UNWE.

The fourth project meeting was held in Seville on 19/20 January 2017. Guests of the spanish partner Inercia Digital, the partners discussed the results of the Output 3: The I Secure Agent prototype and the first phase of Output 4: TEL I Secure eco-system. In particular it was discussed the curriculum for the I Secure Agent and the creation of educational contents. In addition, it was presented the delivery method the course as MOOC. 

The next meeting will be held in Heerlen (NL) on July 2017.

The Welten Institute of the Open University of the Netherlands, partner of I Secure project, organized and hosted the free and open Conference "Digital Risks - Digital Chances" on 13th of December 2016 in Sittar (NL)  www.ecompetence.eu

 

Teachers and parents were invited to the interactive workshops: “School Innovations for Inclusion and Learning-how-to-learn” and “Internet Security in Schools“.

A law for prevention and fighting bullying and cyberbullying was approved by the Chamber of Deputies in Italy.

According to the Istat (National Institute of Statistics) survey in 2014, cited in a report by Save the Children and other 90 subjects of the third sector, 6 percent of respondents said they have suffered unfair actions by text message, email, chat or social networks in 12 months preceding the survey. In Italy 2 million of teenagers spend their days on Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat and in these last 2 years, the cases of cyberbullying have increased dramatically, as well as the sexting phenomenon, the messages of a sexual nature via SMS and chat. 

Now the law will be debated in the Senate for final approval.

The third project meeting was held in Amsterdam on 5/6 September. Guests of the Open University of Netherlands, the partners discussed the results of the Needs and Gaps Analysis and reasoned on learning outcomes for the creation of the I Secure agent curriculum. 

The next meeting will be held in Seville on January 2017.

 

On 17th and 18th of March will be held in Sofia the second meeting of the project. Hosting partner will be The University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. In this second meeting we will discuss the results of the Needs Analysis conducted in Bulgaria, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.

The Italian National Plan for Digital School has taken a step forward. From December 10th, 2015 School Leaders will have to provide the name of the "Digital Tutor" of their educational institution. The choice will fall on teachers who are "innovators" and experts in methods and educational technology and possess good organizational skills and capacity of involvement and leadership than their colleagues. Since December 2015 every Italian school will have a figure exclusively dedicated to digital innovation of methodology and didactics.

On November 2nd and 3rd, 2015 it took place in Rome, at the Technical Institute for Tourism "Cristoforo Colombo", the first Consortium Meeting of the I SECURE project.
The Latium Regional School Office (Ufficio Scolastico Regionale per il Lazio, USR Lazio) hosted the Project partners: Effebi (IT), E-CO e-learning studio (IT), The Open Universiteit Nederland (NL), MERIG (AT). The meeting was an excellent opportunity to meet personally with all partners and initiate the first practical activities of the project.
